The vocational nursing program is available at our site’s Sacramento and San Leandro locations.Our Site’s vocational nursing curriculum is developed with the assistance of experienced industry professionals and teaches students how to identify common health problems. It gives students the skills they need to find entry-level positions or continue their education. Many graduates ofOur Site’s vocational nursing program later train to become registered nurses.

vocational nursing graduates receive an Associate in Science degree. They can find employment in clinics, doctor’s offices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and correctional facilities. Depending upon their place of employment, they may specialize in areas such as emergency medicine, pediatrics, surgery, or intensive care. They practice under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or a dentist.
